Mark Mozilo

Mark Mozilo is a Principal of CALCAP Advisors Inc. Since 1986, Mark has been involved in the mortgage business and acquisition of land and apartment units as a Managing Member of multiple LLC’s. Mark recently spent the last 12 years running various lending activities for IndyMac Bank as an EVP and CEO. Mark’s range of responsibilities included overseeing all aspects of sales and marketing, recruiting and training, operations, and strategic and financial planning.

Prior to joining IndyMac Bank, Mark founded a mortgage banking firm, Keros Mozilo Mortgage. His company focused on niche lending for wholesale mortgage brokers. Mark also worked 6 years for Countrywide Financial as a Regional Vice President. Mr. Mozilo earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego, and has earned the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation.

Mark serves on several boards which include; Shelter Partnership of Los Angeles, Wellness Community of San Gabriel Valley and University of San Diego’s Real Estate Committee. Mark is also a member of the San Gabriel Valley Young Presidents Organization (YPO).

Len Israel

Len Israel is the EVP & CEO of CALCAP Lending, LLC and brings over 30 years of production, operations, risk management, regulatory compliance and capital markets experience to CALCAP’s lending business.  Most recently he was President of Mortgage Banking at Flagstar Bank, a leading nationwide lender, where he was responsible for all production, operations, and capital markets activities.

Prior to this national role, Len served as President of Mission Hills Mortgage Bankers, where he was recruited to remedy an FDIC Consent Order in place and restore profitability.  Within 3 years the company had effectively removed itself from the order and was sold to Pacific Trust Bank, now Bank of Cal.

Len’s career also includes 5 years with IndyMac Bank (2003- 2008), where he managed the national correspondent platform and warehouse lending businesses.   After the bank was placed in receivership, Len was retained to support the FDIC-related tasks associated with positioning the company for sale.

From 1998 – 2003, Len ran CitiMortgage’s Correspondent platform based in St. Louis, MO.  Under his leadership, the platform evolved to one of the nation’s leading programs.

Len received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Finance from California State University, Fullerton and his Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University.  His affiliations include the Financial Management Association Honor Society, Golden Key National Honor Society and Psi Chi National Honor Society.  Len holds a California Department of Real Estate Broker’s license and the Mortgage Bankers Association designation of Certified Mortgage Banker (“CMB”) and is an avid bassist.

Andre Wycoff

Andre Wycoff is the SVP of Mortgage Operations at CALCAP Lending, LLC.  Since 1999, Andre has been involved in Mortgage Banking and Loan Servicing as a firm stakeholder for several nationally recognized fortune 500 companies. Starting his career with Washington Mutual Bank, Andre oversaw various areas during his tenure with WaMu including Bankruptcy/Foreclosure, Loan Servicing and Loss Mitigations.  Andre’s vast knowledge of the business and comprehension of the mortgage process allowed him to interpret data to improve and refine processes within the firm. This became his signature and springboard for future success.

JPMorgan Chase acquired Washington Mutual Bank in 2008, Andre was asked to join the Loan Originations division of Chase as the VP of Retail Loan Operations, leading areas of opening, processing, underwriting and closing. During his tenure Andre’s sites led nationally in total loans closed, underwriting decisions, reduced turn times and 98% overall customer satisfaction scores. With the success of the California teams, Andre’s hierarchy expended to include teams in Tempe AZ, Chicago IL, and Cleveland OH.

After a combined 16 years at WAMU and Chase, Andre accepted a position with EastWest Bank as the FVP of Mortgage Operations. Leading the mortgage team through industry regulation changes, ensuring the firm success in accordance with the government laws.  He helped launch new systems to improve efficiencies and expand mortgage products, increasing loan closing by 38%.

Prior to joining CALCAP Andre worked for HomeStreet Bank as the Regional VP where he ran the California Fulfillment Centers throughout the region. Mr. Wycoff received his education from Los Angeles Mission College.

Scott has over 30 years experience in nationwide mortgage, construction and commercial real estate lending. He received a bachelor’s degree from UCLA in Political Science and a master’s degree also from UCLA in Urban Planning.

Joe Stein

Joe is a recent graduate of the University of Oregon with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Pre-Law and a Minor in Business Administration and Economics. Previously, Joe worked a full-time sales job as a Transportation Broker, and brings his experience and knowledge of customer acquisition, rate negotiation and client communication toCALCAP Lending, LLC. Joe is excited to help the strong team at CALCAP to continue its track record of strong, secure deals and great customer service.

Michael D. Falce

Michael D. Falce is the SVP National Production Manager of CALCAP Lending, LLC and brings over 25 years of production, sales management, technology, operations, and marketing experience to CALCAP lending business.  Over the course of his career, Michael has consistently been a top performer and executive manager in the areas of production, risk and client management.

Michael began his career in the mortgage industry in 1991 as a Credit Union Account Executive at Countrywide Home Loans.  During his 7-year period with Countrywide, Michael consistently garnered top sales award recognition.

Relying upon his expertise in correspondent lending and capital markets activities, Michael joined Aurora Loan Services, a division of Lehman Brothers, as Regional Sales Manager where he developed the western region business.

In addition to production responsibilities, Michael’s business expertise has been the development and marketing of loan programs in the Non-Agency and Non-QM markets.  Michael has proven results in translating unique product offers to increase production via an emphasis in training, sales force and client management techniques.

Michael has BA in Finance/Economics from Robert Morris University, Pittsburgh PA and has achieved top service and sales honors from Countrywide Home Loans and Lehman Brothers in 1992 to 1994, 1999, and 2003 to 2007.

Michael presently resides in Ladera Ranch, CA with his wife Jacqueline and daughter Tara.  His personal interests are his daughter’s club soccer team, skiing and Saturday morning basketball with friends.
